“East Bound and Down: Snow White and the 7 Bridges Road” was posted on Brenan’s Facebook page
and sold immediately to friend and photographer John McCloskey. It now gives his young son Jack occasional nightmares.
Throughout the years, Brenan has gotten press in numerous publications,including the Nashville Scene, the Nashville City Paper, and The Tennessean, to name a few. Here, his comments.
“Brenan Returns! But he hadn’t gone anywhere yet. They got the title from the first line of the press release, ‘Brenan returns to Jackson’s for another art show.’ Later that year, I would actually move to Chicago, so a bit of foreshadowing—however unintentional. Nowadays, I think we’re all for “getting your mind off weightier matters.”
