This painting, entitled Ho, Ho High Life, was the piece de resistance at Brenan’s last annual Christmas party at Jackson’s. Several people toasted Santa during the night of the opening and party. It sold the the next day to three secretaries who went in on it together to give their music executive boss at their company Christmas party. A Jackson’s server recounted the story of the transaction as they deliberated over the purchase, “It was either the Santa painting, or a set of steak knives… literally, steak knives!” Let’s hope the exec was happy with their decision. Either way, here’s hoping you have a Merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays this season. Ho, ho high life!
