If you’re like most movie-goers, it’s always too long between Tarantino films. In anticipation of his newest installment, Man with the Iron Fists, Brenan turns to the inspiration for one of Quentin’s first masterpieces, cover art of dime store paperbacks and magazines of the 40s-60s. Hard-boiled crime stories from a non-PC universe where the most lurid prose was only matched by the sordid cover illustration that sold it… juxtaposed with the more trivial perils of modern society.
Come for the art, stay for the cake.
- Because it’s been 2 years since there was Art by Brenan.
- Because it’s in East Nashville.
- Because Pimp Daddy Supreme will be the DJ.
- Because it’s Brenan’s birthday.
